Humpback Whale

Analog Studio

I was responsible for texturing the whale body, but I did not do the eyes. I used a lot of references and had to recreate the patterns and details of a real humpback whale. I also did the initial shader setup. The deadline was pretty short so I had to work fast.

I did a lot of research on folding cloth and RnD for this project. I also created the texture maps for the fabric as well as the details such as plastic buttons.

Velociraptor

School project

Dinosaur creature inspired by the ones in Jurassic Park. Modeled with references of dinosaur skeletons, artist interpretations and my own imagination. Sculpted details in ZBrush. The texturing was all done in Mari. I split up the UV on 6 different tiles to get more high resolution textures. The rig was made by a classmate but all the animation was done by me.

Great White Shark

School project

This was the second 3D model I made in Maya. Modeled according to references to make it as anatomically correct as possible. Texturing done in Mari. Shading and rendering in V-ray. It was rigged by a classmate but animated by me.

I made all the aspects of the clown fish except for some texturing. I also lit, shaded and rendered the scene.

A model of the classic Fender Stratocaster. The goal was to create a selling packshot.

A model of the Rolex Padellone. Modeled and textured using references. All textures made from scratch in Photoshop. I learned a lot about creating textures from scratch and try and rebuild materials layer by layer.

Game Boy Advance

School project

I wanted to create something a bit playful and a bit more towards motion graphics in maya. The details on the front face of the Game Boy were made as a displacement map, which was a new challenge for me as this was in the beginning of my education.
